Natalie Friedman graduated from Vassar College in 1995, and went on to earn her PhD in literature from New York University in 2001. In addition to her work with writing centers and learning and teaching centers, she also writes about and teaches immigrant literature of the 20th and 21st centuries, American literature from its origins to the present, and Jewish American literature and artistic responses to the Holocaust.
